No Character Model

This might be a bit of an odd problem, and I'm doubtful anyone else has experienced it since I haven't been able to find any other information on the matter, but since I've tried to install AvP2 on my laptop I've continually had an issue where the character is, well, invisible to a degree. I can still cycle through the weapons and such and the HUD is fine, but the characters arms and weapons are not visible at all. I've tried looking at patches and so on and so forth but I have no idea where to even begin. Any help at all would be much appreciated, and thanks will be more than given in advance.

Haven't tried third person yet, this is just in first person from what I've seen. I'm running windows 7 (as opposed to vista on the desktop computer I used to be able to run it on). While I have someone gathering spec info I managed to get a third person screen shot and its a little odd.

So the model isn't gone . . its just frozen slightly. The torso will move and such but the legs and arms stay the same. It just kind of swivels so to speak.

AMD A-Series A8-4500M (1.90GHz)
6GB Memory 750GB HDD
AMD Radeon HD 7640G
1366 x 768
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Your AVP2 is original?

The model is normally frozen like that in 3rd person when playing singleplayer. Post a screen shot of what you see from first person view.

Did you install a copy of AvP2 or original AvP2 from the install discs?

Well, I feel just a little bit silly now. What I had been seeing is this.

There was no game play issues, I could still shoot and interact any everything. Off a hunch I checked the graphic settings and they were set to low or extra low or some such. I just changed them up to high and now . . .

Sorry about that guys, I appreciate all your help though.
