Weird things in predator single player

In predator last mission,trophy,when you enter hive you can see some strange "thing" on ceiling.Can someone say what is this,it is white and looks like ball with something on it.Dont know how is this connected to aliens and their hive.



You can see it in centre of picture behind these platforms.
