Hmmm,

Not my expertise in 'models' but i'm sure kingkenny will help you on this one, or maybe even Canonmaster.

It's not as simple as jpg to png.

AvP2's tool Modeledit can convert AvP2's models (ABC files) into LTA files.

I'm not sure what program hammer uses for models. But you would need a program that accepts LTA models to be imported, and then then convert it to whatever Hammer uses. An older version of 3dsmax might be able to do this and it will need the lta plugin. Milkshape 3d can also handle AvP2 models, but it is so crappy and buggy that I could never finish anything on it.

Another issue is that when you convert models, sometimes the bones of the skeleton, or animations get lost or moved around. So you would need to know how to fix and errors that pop up.
