Yea.. i've done that before... now imagine... this... if you put windows 95 on a psp... and then somehow get the files for avp2 or the avp2server.exe and load it up and connect the psp via WiFi ? - you might have a server working on a psp.  Grin

Not sure if it will work.... (the psp)

but i have successfully ran an avp2 server on a Pentium ii in the past.

Running AvP2 on Linux (Via wine is better IMO)

No crashes.... no need to be worried about issues.

What?

steam os is a bit heavy and complex to install.
the idea of Geran with VMware seems good but I have some doubts about the performance......
I had in mind something more lightweight
how about a dosbox windows 98 se
using the old direct x 8 included in the game?

Your better off, installing xubuntu (light verion of ubuntu) install wine install AVP2 for a decent server.

or if you want to be  a bit more professional... Arch Linux + Wine + avp2 server is smooth.

I've always wanted to Try an avp2 server on OpenBSD (unix OS) but wine is buggy on it.
