	It's a neat concept... but you need to remember... it doesn't have a lot to work with.. and the 3d stuff... maybe there is a newer software with full support of many things to make it work?

I refer old topic ,when I wondered if it was possible to find a solution for the 3D stereoscopic. Geran initially just wanted to find a solution for the problem of the full screen on computers with Windows 8. in a couple of hours Enlarged to Geran was running on my laptop with Windows 8 a simple wmplayer pre installed with Windows XP and AVP2 compressed in 1.33gb. I have a copy of bakup if so needed. anyway geran say: hi lucifer here's the vm to start it, open the vm ware player and start the vm to switch between your pc and the vm, press <ctrl><alt> to go fullscreen, press <CTRL><ALT><ENTER> if you go fullscreen, press the pin on the upper menu so you can play ^ the vm has the "vm ware tools" installed so the handling will be easier all stuff i installed/copied is in the upper right corner i made a backup of the vm - if you did something wrong, just copy the files over i dont think the vm is working 100% at the moment so wait until i fixed the flickering problem - or you found something the flickering occurs only if you play avp2 in fullscreen - if you add +windowed 1 to the avpcmd, it will work right now, windows needs 80 MB RAM and AvP2 needs around 128Mb RAM so the minimal settings are 256Mb free RAM st start the VM - i doubled it to test some stuff with the virtaulization thing, wait a bit until i have everything ready if this all is done and tested, i'll give it free to launch for everyone with instructions ~have fun perhaps Geran had not found a solution to remedy the problems full screen & stereoscopic d3. but It has shown that it is possible to run AVP2 in VMware-player-7.1.0. what does the garry's mod cinema modof garry's in all this? the concept of virtual place cinema mod its only a exemple, Imagine a server garry's mod with a modified version of cinema mod ,where you can use wmplayer. a virtual place to meet and chat, or a virtual place to get together to play a very old retro game .

	I fail to see the point? You're depending on the fact that people will: A) have gmod B) have VMWareplayer and know how to use it and have the 3D compatibility fix C) have Windows XP virtualized D) have AvP2 on the virtualized machine E) know about this If they HAVE AvP2 in the first place, why would they go through all these hoops? You could be actually going out places and publicising this game and instead you're conjuring up bizarre and impossible scenarios that will never happen. Let me break it down for you. YouTube is integrated into GMod and VMWarePlayer isn't. You want to know why? YouTube is basically a universal website that everyone and their mother uses. Not so with VMW. I'm not saying it's impossible for the gmod engine to support, but if VMW isn't on gmod, how do you expect to get it on there? Hack it on? Come on dude, there are much more practical ways. I've handed you the game on a silver platter for you to distribute FOR FREE. That, my friend, is what you should be publicising, not conjuring up ridiculous fantasies that will never come to pass. Work with what you have.

	Let me get this straight, you want to virtualize twitch into the cinema section of gmod to get an "audience"? I just can't understand for the life of me WHY. It's more fun playing than watching others play and it's easier to just watch twitch on FireFox or Chrome than to start up gmod and worry about virtualizing twitch inside it. Besides, many AvP2 players don't even have Steam. That's why they play AvP2.
