In an interview at the festival AFI end of last week, Scott casually informed the audience that the film in 2017 is now known as the Covenant Alien. The film has changed name and form several times in the course of its development by increasing its egg stage as Prometheus 2, the stage facehugger as Alien: Paradise Lost, and now his chest bursts as Alien: Covenant. The name was confirmed this morning in a tweet from your 20th Century Fox official Twitter, which not only firmly stated that the film is part of the Alien franchise, but also due out in late 2017: October 6, 2017, to be precise.

	Dumb. And stupid. Didn't the new Star Wars movie only have like a year of production? Same for all the Hobbit movies? But Ridley Scott gets two years? Wtf.

	ROFL. Nice find. I found a vlog review of the movie a long while back. It's not as funny as that and it's like an hour and a half long and has basically the same points but it was somewhat entertaining.

	Neil blomkamps alien 5 is still happening Neill Blomkamp had an interview with Empire about the upcoming Alien 5 guaranteeing fans that Alien 5 won't "tread on the toes" of Scott's Prometheus 2. Neill Blomkamp revealed that the two directors are coordinating with each other, knowing that Ridley Scott is producing Alien 5;
