I think it's really cool. Now all we need is a VIP lounge, some sofas, chairs, a bar, a fireplace, a place to chill and start a game whenever.

we can give a free alternative for dowload udp classic for free ,for people dont want spend money in a old game.
it's so dammed easy expecially for udp classic its already preconfigurated!! (for steam version)
we could use the old iso version 1999 or the gold version  in alternative .

humans are fascinated by gold may be corrupted.
now image a virtual VIP lounge where you can invite all your friend on steam and organize mach.
keep in mind that just an idea and I am not able to program in source ,we need a dedicated server and maybe  a developper to make something more beautiful and refined.

Nope. Already tried it and couldn't work it out so the game would actually install. Plus, 1999/Gold Edition would require the dgvoodoo fix or sirlemonhead's AvPx mod, neither of which have multiplayer support. Well, 99/GE does but only on Game Ranger; MPlayer and GameSpy don't support it anymore.

Also, Classic 2000 costs five bucks. I've said it before; if players actually want the game, they'll spend less money than a friggin' sandwich costs for it. I don't tolerate any of this "I only get stuff if it's free" crap anymore.
