Overview

Alien 3 (stylized as ALIEN3) is a run-and-gun action game based on the 1992 film. This page is dedicated to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) VERSION, released in 1993 and published by LJN, with development by Probe Software. You play as Ellen Ripley aboard the Fiorina 161 prison colony, battling Xenomorphs and Facehuggers while racing against the clock.

Gameplay – SNES VERSION

The SNES VERSION keeps the film’s setting but arms Ripley with an arsenal more in line with Aliens. You’ll run, jump, climb ladders and crawl through vents while completing mission-based objectives chosen from in‑level computer terminals (which also display area blueprints). Each stage is timed, and a motion tracker warns of nearby hostiles.
