	in waiting for ump3 is completed. it would be possible to have a AVP2 client official? one client to manage all the different mod multiplayer . (old and new) a server browser and chat tool for those who feel the need. here a russian exemple (whidout chat) http://longliveavp2.cu.cc/download/Connector_0982.rar or alternatively a server teamspeak official to provide technical assistance to those who need it? good idea ? bad idea? your opinion

When you run AvP2.exe it launches with the msp on even if you left your command line empty. So yes, this client would need to be somewhat of a new launcher. I won't be setting up a teamspeak simply because I don't have it. Someone else could. This forum is for technical assistance as well. I like the idea on a new client though. I tried years ago to make a new AvP2 launcher but it was a lot of work. For something that you see for only a few seconds, it was too much work; so I stopped making it.

It remains a good idea I have used this to recruiting people from the game ranger. since ms beta for ph 1.0.0 its created. this client made by the Russians is extremely simple to program. It would not require a lot of work. Geran had changed in the past, this client its old version was also compatible with primal hunt , alj ,and avp2 team fotress , old vanilla avp2, ump2 (minimod) and all mods you prefer. and I had taken another compatible version for 32 and 64 bit os and an additional version that was starting AVP2 in windowed mode for window 8.1 64-bit. its only limitation, and that does not have a chat client as opposed to AVP2 client made by TBBC & mr x http://www.tbbcbase.net/files/AvP2Client.exe but we would need to contact the creators that I think are Russians. here old version 0.9.8.1 for 32 bit https://mega.co.nz/#!gsRzUaKa!BU8tIynmPI_cg2T_o0BuQx0-WY-7SMdbCdPjz2aaCS4 here old version 0.9.8.1 for 64 bit https://mega.co.nz/#!VxRUQS7C!cbp4SLOgKz4oDSAn17RPjUZQ9E6gs2PLHq5NA_1LCnk you could use this for inspiration. a client inside future MS 2.3 offical required toy? the chuck norris power + a evil and insane idea. (also include old jp idea hosting entire game) a bit lunar cicle (end of ump3), talk a perfect russian ,frenc 7 euro or better 7 Swiss francs a server linux , a crazy programmer, and a crazy scripter.

	It's a good concept... but not sure will it work.. takes time and a lot of effort.

My idea would be an evolution of the two. a merger of the two perhaps maybe with a voice chat a bit more advanced. a chat where you can also write if you do not want to talk or play. not only provide technical help. or for share the entire game. a virtual place where everyone can show off his name his nazionality his clan name his rank his class his race and his avatar. the virtualizzation of limbo. for join required only a nick for rest required a registration not mandatory for play or dowload game (if you need).

A server is only popular if there is 1 player in the server. If all the servers were empty and I were to set up a server called "This Server Sucks" and joined it, other players would join it as well due to the rest of the servers being empty. There isn't a lot of people playing at the same time, so any server with 1 player in it, will be popular. As for these clients, they're ok, but very bare bones. Even when the Gamespy client was working, I always preferred joining AvP2 the old fashioned way. The client would have to be really good for me to use it.

The client would have to be really good for me to use it. we can build a better worlds? free will. give a choice to the players the chance to enter a server using the game menu or use the client to access it. but also give the opportunity of being able to download the game itself just to try it. not only technical assitance, not only recruiting new players, not only a system to manage the new updates, not only a system to download the game or all the mods;

Yes, I've uploaded my entire archive for AvP2. It's about 13gb of files. x-M-x and I need to set up a site for all the files. The plan is to eventually make it all viewable for the public.
