but who cares
Intensity is 50% on all screenshots, in short, amount of glowing depends on pixel color, that's why glowing differs.
So the max value is 100%, but it looks very "messy" on bright maps.
Of course, the best way is dynamic bloom, but using DirectX7 such feature is very slow.

Played it today and will say that the pseudo-bloom effect makes the game look a lot better. It's a similar effect that the Black Mesa team is overall trying to go for in their recreation of Half-Life.
Any idea when v.0.2 will be coming out?

Okay. If you get the chance, refer him to
my post on Global AVP
where I made recommendations for streamlining the alien controls. It's overly complex as it stands now.
