Oh, I see. Actually your post is more coding related and I am the guy who's behind the code.
So, what Firkax said about difficulties is true. I understand that Button + Mouse button system is not pretty, but I didn't find easy way to implement new alien attacks without messing around with AVP2 weapon firing system, where only mouse clicks are used for firing.

For now there are no predators in the mod.
The main thought is polishing balance between marines and aliens and only then add predators to this shake.
Definitely there will be new vision modes.

I think Chappie is looking for tutorial "how to change vision mode colors". So, you need source code to do some neat vision mode tweaks.

Mentioned features are already present in version 0.1.
Basically egg, cocoon and goo spawners are regular weapons. When you hold E or Q button, game switches one weapon to another. Body pickup is just "Use button".
That's it. It is possible to recode all that stuff, but it needs time, which is the most valuable resource
Also, Olde, as I can see you still have that issue with detail textures. You can disable them in graphics options.

You do not need Visual Studio C++ 6 if you do not have source code. You do not want to mess with this stuff. Trust me.

Are you planning to put together a website for your mod? I think you should.
I saw some Olde's videos of him testing the mod out; it looks really good. I was wondering, is this mod singleplayer compatible?
Also who made the new animations on the pv weapon models. Were those built from scratch or imported from another game? There is a team behind this mod right?
