	Hi all, I was wondering if there is a mod that already makes it possible to spawn friendly marines during the campaign (plus Primal Hunt), or if one could be created. Thanks.

	Hi One can be created (but not sure who is still fully active on the modder list...) There's a few maps with NPC's already in them but to spawn them? haven't come across a map like that in years, a mapper would know more on this subject (maybe Imp Hunter will reply and help you) Thank's for visiting.

	Hi, Doing spawns in a custom map is easy enough but if we are talking a mod to spawn friendly marines to help you in the single player campaign it would be harder. There are some server mods that allow placeable sentry turrets, starting there would be the best idea. Its something i havent really looked into, but i know there are some other mods around that will spawn say simple ai face huggers.

Wasn't the SP map .ed's Release for mappers to edit them ? i'm sure it was. There are however maps where you can set/place turrets KingKenny is experienced in this field but as for characters? nothing like that in a long time. (unless someone on here or out there is up to the 'challenge' )

Thanks. This type of mod does not exist at all. It's a shame too as it would be fun. I'm thinking if something like this were to be made, it would have to be borrow the code of the turret placing to place ai characters. But new code would have to be written to add the choices to spawn different ai types by console command.

	I don't suppose the game might already have a console command for spawning NPCs?

	Cheat Commands are here. http://avpunknown.com/gallery/games/avp2/cheats.htm But to spawn multiple NPC's and let them help you? sadly it doesn't work like that in this game. (the only time you get help is if they are programmed to help) it's not like Jedi Academy, when you spawn an NPC and it will follow and help you till the end of time unless it's killed. A mod would be required like you said
