As the subject states I downloaded the game and am unable to assign controls. When I do assign them they either:
a. do not stick or
b. (in the case of the shared controls) stick but do not work
as of this writing.

Steps I have taken so far to fix this problem using advice I found on this forum
1. Uninstall and reinstall the game X2.
2. Install Primal Hunt (Controls still not working on either the base game or expansion but the game itself starts up just fine).
3. Install Master Server Patch no dice.
4. Lucifero mentioned in a previous post installing the Italian version of the game but, that didn't work either.

At this point I guess I'm out of ideas so if someone could get back to me at their earliest convenience with a resolution to my problem it would be greatly appreciated so thank you in advance for anyone who responds to this post.

Thank you. Going to be upfront I am a truck driver and am not equipped with the knowledge needed to add files to a game. If it's not to much trouble I have downloaded the folder and its ready to go could you give me a step by step quick reference on how to open the games folder and where to drop the folder I downloaded? Again apologies if this seems like common knowledge I should know, I'm just a middle class nobody with a base understanding of computers.

PS: I did create a new profile yesterday and that did not work. Should've mentioned that but forgot again sorry about that.

Ok so I put the .dll file into the main AVP2 folder but, their have been no changes. Maybe if I try uninstalling and reinstalling again?
