AVP2 black screen when i start the game (Read 18184 times)

	it seems recently whenever i start AVP2, i instantly get a black screen (basically no visuals at all) from the logo screens and the main menu included. no idea what caused it. i did a graphic card update as recommended and it started happening.

	Hello, Try extracting and placing this dll in your AvP2 installation folder. https://avpunknown.com/avp2files/avp2dll/dinput.zip Then start up the game. Does it work now?

	no change... still i hear all the sounds of the game startup screens and can click the menu with my keyboard...but i see nothing but a black screen.

	Remove the dll then. Did you try dgVoodoo 2?

	but now the mouse clicks dont work...so i cant fight at all :/

It can be found here: http://www.avpunknown.com/avp2master/ Did you see the ultimate guide? It's here: https://www.avpunknown.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1538797059 Check your keybindings for controls. You make need to make a new profile for player settings/options.

	i already played online recently and all was fine. suddenly i got the black screen problem and that thing i installed fixed it but i still got the mouse click problem, single player included. i really dont know what can cause this. primal hunt works fine now with the glitch fix. no mouse click problems offline or online.

	i reinstalled and it still didnt work. i uninstalled, deleted the whole folder with the remaining files in it (probably from the map pack) and reinstalled. now it works, at least for now without the map pack.
