What is AvP Unknown?

Aliens vs. Predator Unknown is a dedicated gaming community site for the Aliens, Predator, and Aliens vs. Predator game series. Founded on January 23, 2005, it began as a personal site for AvP2 skins and expanded to include community information and hosted projects. I continue to create skins for Aliens vs. Predator 2 in the XMX Files section and help provide the AvP2 & Primal Hunt Master Servers, plus host 15+ servers for Aliens vs. Predator (2010).

Does AvP Unknown have forums?

Yes. Our first ProBoards forum launched in 2005 but was later discontinued. In 2010 we launched our own forum powered by YaBB — visit: AvP Unknown Forum. Today the forum mainly serves as an info/archive hub; most real-time discussion happens on our Discord servers (AvP1, AvP2, AvP2010).

Do you have Discord servers?

How many game servers do you run? Is there a dedicated server list for AvP2 & AvP2010?

The number of servers we operate varies throughout the year, depending on community activity and technical needs. Currently, we maintain approximately 20–25 servers for AvP2 and around 20 servers for AvP2010. All servers are actively maintained and running smoothly.

Will there be new sections or pages in the future?

Yes — when a new AvP game is released, we add a dedicated page under the Games section.

When will more skins be released and where can I download them?

Releases happen periodically. Check the XMX Files section for the latest updates (primarily for Aliens vs. Predator 2).

What is the AvP2 Master Server Patch?

It’s essential for playing Aliens vs. Predator 2 online. After the original servers were shut down, the community provided new master servers. Find the latest patch via Social » AvP2 Master Server in the navigation, or go directly to our hosted page: AvP2 Master Server Patch.

Where can I get support for AvP games?

The best place is our official community Discords — AvP Classic, AvP2, and AvP2010. You can also use the Forum Tech Support section.

Can I purchase AvP2 from you or somewhere else?

We do not sell the game directly. Physical copies occasionally appear on marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, or Etsy. For a complete setup, visit our AvP2 AIO Edition page, which includes AvP2 + Primal Hunt resources.

Of course! You can find support in two ways:
1) Click Games in the nav, choose Games released in the 2000s, select AvP2, then scroll to the Tech Support section.
